What is PowerVC?

IBM Power Virtualization Center (PowerVC) is an advanced virtualization management based on Openstack offering that simplifies creating and managing virtual machines on IBM Power Systems™ servers using PowerVM® or PowerKVM hypervisors.

PowerKVM Support from When ?

PowerVC 1.2.1 is based on the Icehouse release of OpenStack. PowerVC started support for PowerKVM from this build.

How it it different from Kimchi?

Kimchi can manage only one PowerKVM Machine, where as PowerVC can manage multiple machines with advanced functionalities.
